Weight Loss Update #11 & Christmas Ornament Exchange Update

I'm as baffled as you will be when I tell you this.  As you know I am no longer dieting but trying to maintain the weight I was when I entered this maintenance phase 3 weeks ago.  You're supposed to stay within 2 pounds of that weight.  I've been doing that although on the lower end of the scale ... within 2 pounds below that last weight rather than above it or bouncing between the two.  You have to weigh yourself each morning.  This past Sunday, without any explanation, I got on the scale & overnight had dropped 4-1/2 pounds.  I have held at that weight until this morning when I got on the scale & found that I lost another half pound.  I am now a total of 7 pounds less than I was when I entered the maintenance phase.  That's not how it's supposed to work.  I don't know whether to be happy or complain ... lol!  I'm eating well, believe me ... made chicken parmesan the other night & have been having eggs & bacon & sausage & cheeses & things on the grill & homemade soups & shrimp & cereal & more.  Of course I haven't been overeating & I'm not having any heavy starches & no sweets whatsoever.  I'm not very active (think slug) & am, in fact, extremely tired.  I'll mention all this to my doctor today when I see her along with a bunch of other stuff I need to tell her.  I have a guess at what she's going to recommend in part regarding the weight loss but I'll let you know if I was right about that when I get back home.

I can't tell you much of what I've been up to otherwise.  Aren't I mysterious ... lol!  There is a reason for this secrecy but all will be revealed soon   : )

There are 4 ladies, including myself, participating in my primitive Christmas ornament exchange!  What we lack in numbers is made up by our wild enthusiasm   : )   I have a pretty good idea which ornament I'm going to make for us.  Guidelines were sent out the other day & I will be sending the address list shortly.

Until later ...
