Monday? Really?

It's strange but I can't shake the feeling that this is Sunday!  I woke up thinking it was Sunday & I've been thinking that ever since although at one point I did realize it's Monday.

As you can see I have a new stitching finish to show you!  The Christmas All Year Round SAL theme for February is a Christmas tree ornament & I chose this one ...

Joy & Peace
Designer:  Little House Needleworks
Suggested fabric & threads used

I enjoyed stitching this ornament even though I ended up having to take out one entire row toward the beginning of the tree because I missed a white stitch & made it green instead.  Thankfully it wasn't a huge undertaking to fix it   : )   The March theme is "your choice."  I have no idea yet what I'll be choosing for that one.

Now that I've finished stitching my ornament I can start working on something else.  I will be looking through my stash today.  I'm sure something will catch my eye   : )

While I was taking photos this morning Sophie decided to keep an eye on me.  I couldn't resist snapping one of her   : )
I'm sure she is thinking "Enough with the photos already!  Get me my breakfast!"

Tomorrow John & I will celebrate our 36th wedding anniversary!  We thought it would be romantic to be married on Valentines Day but it's actually been a bit of a problem.  Because it's Valentines Day just about everyone else in the world is celebrating by going to dinner or shows, taking trips, etc ... so places are often quite crowded not to mention things being quite expensive.  This year we will probably celebrate at some later date what with John's dental woes plaguing him.  That'll be okay though ... just being together is celebration enough   : )   I probably won't be posting anything tomorrow so I will take this opportunity to wish you all a very Happy Valentines Day as well as a very Happy Anniversary to those of you who likewise were married on this special day   : )

Happy Anniversary to you and John--36 years is something to be very proud of in this day and age. My husband and I are closing in on our 35th this July--hard to believe, isn't it?!

Happy Anniversary, how romantic to get married on Valentines Day.

I can see what you mean we got married on Christmas Eve and it can be difficult to celebrate on that day.

Ohhhh...love this one Shirlee...Nice and simple and sweet....And your whites are looking so nice and crisp...Bet Frosty is proud. And happy, happy, (albeit belated) anniversary!!! 36 years...wow. I thought I had done some time - but you've got me by a decade and some. I'm sorry I missed your special day...things have just gotten away from me. You've been in my thoughts and prayers though.
