Why Did I Buy These???

Can anyone tell me why I purchased these fabrics???

Left:  36 ct Jamaica Sunset Edinburgh linen, 13x18
Right:  40 ct Opalescent Moon Dust Newcastle linen, 13x18

I sent an order to 123 Stitch just this past Monday.  Five days ago!!!  My order arrived today & it included these 2 pieces of fabric. I an totally clueless as to why I purchased them!

They are both very pretty fabrics.  I definitely remember ordering them for specific projects that called for them, but what?  They have memorable names.  The opalescent fabric, in particular, can't be very commonly suggested.

Do you by any chance remember seeing these fabrics used & suggested for any designs at all?

Are they for the recent St. Charles' Market releases you purchased? Have a peaceful, restful day. ♥

Sorry I can't help you, but I have done the same thing before. It will come to you. Check out some of your charts that you have been thinking of doing, I'm sure you will find one that calls for those fabrics.

Shirlee, I saw the Jamaica Sunset one was on clearance at 123 at a great price. Perhaps it was a deal too good to pass up? They are both lovely.

I came from Peggy's link and found a stitchy sister and sister in Christ. I follow now :-)

Beautiful fabrics. Something about getting special fabrics and flosses that make you want to start multiple projects at once.

I don't know what specific projects you selected those beautiful fabbies for, but I was thinking either for the recent market purchases or for the Christmas ornies you were looking to stitch.

I laughed when I saw this post. I actually make a list and write down the fabric and what chart goes with it. Okay I only did this once:)
Good luck dear. i could only think you were working on Christmas ornaments from the ornament magazines.

Gorgeous fabbies but no, I don't know why you wanted them. Good luck with finding out - a mystery to solve!

Just having a blog reading catch up after my holidays.

So pleased all went well for you and you are home and recovering well.

Beautiful paintings by your brother, so wonderful. Lovely stitching by yourself and such pretty birdie pics, they were a joy to see.

Perhaps a re read of your blog will enlighten you as to the choice of fabric, I seem to remember you asking us to choose some fabric a while age?

{healing hugs} x
