A Blustery Day

It's a bit blustery today & the cardinals are queuing in the pussy willow bush awaiting their turn at the feeder   : )

It's so nice to see a bit of snow on the ground & the snowflakes falling ... those big fat fluffy flakes of Prozac that fall from the sky   : )   It's a good day to snuggle down & do some stitching or some knitting, or maybe just curl up in the recliner with a good book & a bunch of munchies.  I'm not concerned about losing the weight I gained over Christmastime yet & yesterday I ordered some of my all-time favorite candies.

I should have paid for overnight shipping.  Surely there is an unlimited supply of these candies in heaven   : )   Note that these gummi bears are the mini gummi bears.  I don't like the regular size ones, but the minis are out of this world!!!

I'm drooling all over the keyboard.  Maybe I'll go bake a cake & some cookies to tide me over until UPS arrives   : )

What beautiful photography! Cardinals, even the females, are so lovely on a cold winter day.
Interesting candies - I love gummy bears of any size but have never seen minis so I could change my mind 😊. Candy beads as filling intrigues me; I may have to look for these.
(Thanks for your note. Reply will be coming in the next couple days. Nothing to be concerned about - all me!)

Oh how I wish that cardinals lived here in the UK - they just lift my spirits whenever I see a photo of them.

Shirlee, I love your cardinal pictures! Glad to hear that you are having a bit snow. Cookies or cake sound good on a day like today. Enjoy your hunkering down!

Thanks for sharing photos of the Cardinals. Other than our football team, we don't have cardinals in Phoenix!

I have never seen that many cardinals hanging out together.
Everything I bake I have competition for. The kids are great help with that. Then I do not eat whole cakes. ;) I DO hide my Dove Dark. They ate those too fast. Now they are just mine. ;)

What a beautiful group of visitors! I just love cardinals. They are a bright spot on stark winter days. I didn't even know about mini gummy bears! Must go get some.

The cardinals are so lovely--what wonderful, special birds.
I'm intrigued by those wafers--I have not seen them before, but they certainly look like they'd be good! Of course, how could anything chocolate be bad!!! HA
