Has Anyone Stitched or Is Anyone Stitching This?

I've admired this for a long, long time & finally bit the bullet & purchased the chart.  I would have purchased the recommended threads as well, but when I looked at the skeins I had in my stash, I was pleased with the Blue Spruce but not with the Currant.  If you are stitching or have stitched this, could you tell me if you've chosen other red & green threads to use, & if so, which ones you have chosen? Thanks   : )

It is beautiful and you are an ambitious lady. I have not seen this before but do like the idea of using just one color.

Keep warm...

Peace to all,
Barb

What a marvelous piece!! I have not seen it before, but would love to try my hand at it, too! Hoping you hear from others who have done it in different colors. Sorry I couldn't be helpful to you myself, but TFS the piece with us!!

I have admired this for quite some time! It is so gorgeous and I can't wait to see yours! I'm a church musician, so I think this would be perfect for me!! I may have to bite the same bullet you did! HA
I have no idea about the colors....but I'm sure whatever you pick will be lovely.

It is one I have admired but never bought. I also really like the Autumn Sampler of theirs but have yet to succumb to temptation! I will look forward to seeing your progress. xx

I am stitching it on 'Spring' linen and using needlepoint silk 'chinese red range' for the motifs and 'palomino gold range' for the words.

I am stitching this! I don't have a good progress picture, because I've only stitched with the red color so far, but in this post is a picture of the two flosses: http://lottloft.blogspot.com/2014/09/theme-licious-october-is.html.
I changed both the colors to silks because I am stitching it over one! So I'm afraid that doesn't really help with your color selection. =( The red is Cranberry Belle Soie, and the green is a Gloriana, but I can't remember the color. I just told Drema at Needlecraft Corner to pick out one that would work!!

HI Shirlee, yes, I am stitching this, too, it is one of my very long term WIPs. I am afraid that I am boring and stuck with the original colours. Have fun with this, it is so gorgeous!
