Our Storage Unit Neighbor

As I think I mentioned in my last post, John & I ended up having to rent three storage units prior to our move.  We still have two of them ... one near our old home & one near our new one.  You can imagine my surprise when one of the storage units assigned to us was right next door to satan's storage unit!

Do you notice anything interesting about satan's storage unit?
Look closely.
Yep!  Two locks!  That satan ... he doesn't trust anybody!

We are still settling in.  This will take a while. Things are slowly coming together though.  My most important "wish" right now is for our kitchen sink faucet to be replaced.  I cannot put my cleaning supplies in the cabinet under the sink until it is replaced, nor do dishes.  This means my cleaning supplies are all over the counter & I can't cook. We have been going out to eat every day for the past 3 weeks, which is okay, but it doesn't beat home cooked food.  The plumbers came on Monday but were unable to fix the faucet, so they need to bring me a new one.  I don't know what the hold up is ... you go to the store & buy one, right?  But apparently I know nothing about plumbing.

No crafting yet, but hopefully soon   : )

Okay, Miss Shirlee, it took me a minute to get that one. I was thinking to myself, "oh no not another mean neighbor." Then I noticed the numbers. Whew! Tee Hee! Gotta agree about the sink. I'm just sure they have Lowe's in Lexington. Wonder if those fellas need a map?! Maybe they are lost in the store. LOL!

I hope you'll be very happy in your new home once the little glitches get sorted out for you.

Hope your new faucet gets installed soon! I think you need to take out something crafty for a few minutes. Thinking of you!

Shirlee, that is no good - how annoying for you both! I am with you, how hard is it to buy a tap? I hope that you get back to your crafting soon.

You've been in my thoughts and prayers. Hopefully you'll get the kitchen faucet fixed soon. We moved 11 times in 9 years when I was growing up and it got to the point that us kids wouldn't even bother to unpack anything that wasn't a daily necessity. I totally know how you're feeling when you think about packing up in 10 months.

Hope Mr Plumber will come back to you soon & fix your sink ;)

It might be quicker if I just drive to KY and bring you one! Ha! But it is probably priorities... big jobs over little ones... Hugs!

I really feel for you not being able to cook etc. I've been without hot water since Monday so having to boil a kettle to wash pots and it's driving me mad!

Glad to hear you are steadily settling in.

Maybe it's used by the local rock band? Keep their gear in it? Watch out for mysterious stains and bleating noises coming from within!

A friend of mine used to play in a Death Metal band, they drove around in a hearse. They used to come pick him up for gigs and his Mum would make them come in and have a cup of tea. I can just imagine them sitting there in her very ordinary suburban house drinking tea politely!
