I have been catching up on blogs this morning but I am suddenly unable to view any blogs that contain content from shabbyblogs.com. When I try to read these blogs (which I've had no trouble viewing in the past) I get the following warning message from Google ...
WARNING: [Name of blog] contains content from shabbyblogs.com, a site known to distribute malware. Your computer may catch a virus if you visit this site. Google has found that malicious software may be installed on your computer if you proceed. If you have visited this site in the past, it is possible that it has just been recently compromised by a hacker. You should not proceed.
My intent is not to scare anyone but malware is a bad thing designed to disrupt computer operation, gather sensitive information, or gain unauthorized access to computer systems. If you do have content from shabbyblogs.com on your site, you may want to consider removing it.
I know that all blogs I follow do not follow me. I also do not know everyone's email address so I can alert them specifically. I will do my best. Meanwhile you may want to pass this information along to others. This is not a fake warning that you sometimes see popping up on your computer. This is a warning directly from Google.

Thank you for the heads up Shirlee. Finally worked out why you couldn't see mine!!!
Thanks, Shirlee! I got mine fixed!
Thanks Shirlee. I noticed this too, when I went to view some Blogs.
I haven't encountered this yet, but thanks so much.
Thank you Shirlee we all needed to know about this.
Hugs.
Yikes. That IS scary stuff. Glad to see Google is on top of things....Thanks for the warning....Robin
I think I know how this happens. In your stats you can view the different sites that have visited or referred others to your blog. I clicked one as it had the most. Turned out to be a "bad" site. I got out quick and lucky for me my security system stopped the site from connecting. I am going to believe if you do not have a firewall etc. they can then attack your blog etc. Sadly I have come across the same thing, warning me about malware on a blog I read.
Hopefully Shabbyblogs can get their site fixed. Thanks for the heads up.
blessings, jilly
Hi, I googled the problem and your blog was the first link to appear. I have a website www.jessicasthoughts-life.blogspot.com and I too could not enter my own site. Should I change my backing image? Is this dangerous? Please help!
