I loved reading your last blog entry about Christmas and what it's turned into and the way it makes us feel. This year I've decided to try to adopt a new approach and I'm hoping that I can enjoy it instead of stressing about it - reading your words resonated with me.
I come from SF too, and Edgar is right--they really want to see snow every now and then! But, it would cripple them like it cripples us in VA! We all can drive to places north-ish and frolic in snow! And have lots of JOY!
I love God, spending time with my husband of 48 years, a hot cup of tea, a hot bowl of homemade soup, a hot fresh loaf of homemade bread (do you see a pattern here?), cross stitching & a few other crafts, early mornings before the sun is up, sitting by a burning fireplace, snowy winters, crisp fall days, peace & quiet, wearing jeans & sweatshirts & funky socks. There's probably some other stuff too : )

haha! We have a couple more inches of joy on the ground than that right now. ;) AND you would love it. It is currently 10º outside.
Snow equals joy to me too.
