Oh that is so sad. I am glad you shared the nest with us in the first place. Perhaps the robins will set up house and home elsewhere, a bit higher and safer, but still by you.
Oh my, how sad is that? Hopefully, they will return and rebuild.

Oh Shirlee, how sad. Nature is indeed cruel and when it's on your doorstep it's hard to take.
Sorry. Hope she builds again in a more protected area. My neighbor just put out four birdhouses on wood posts, perfect for a raccoon to climb, reach inside, and destroy.
Oh, such a pity, Shirlee but at least you were able to share the nest with us.
Nature can be so cruel sometimes.
Aww, that is so sad. I know that nature can be cruel, but I really don't like to see it :(
