God grant you the light in Christmas, which is faith;
the warmth of Christmas, which is love;
the radiance of Christmas, which is purity;
the righteousness of Christmas, which is justice;
the belief in Christmas, which is truth;
& all of Christmas, which is Christ.

This Week's Stitching Finish

Only one finish this week.

Designer:  Chessie & Me
Design:  Noel House (kit)
Fabric:  36 ct Vintage Examplar linen
Floss:  Gloriana silk

Chessie & Me included satin & Smyrna stitches in this design.  I made these stitches like so ...

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

It looks just as pretty my way   : )   The little deer is stitched over one.  All in all it was a fun design to stitch.

Last night I started my next project ... LHN's Silent Night.
I stitched this ornament a couple years ago for a group exchange & have always wanted to stitch one for myself.  It's coming along quite nicely   : )

I hope everyone is having a nice, restful weekend!

Congratulations on your Christmas finish, Shirlee! I would have done the xxxxx for the satin stitches (not a fan of them) and depending on my mood I might or might not have done the Smyrna stitches. I really like your next project. Looking forward to seeing progress or your finish!

Enjoy your weekend!
