I just wanted to post a little note to say that I won't have the use of my computer for a few days. I have no intention of using a library computer or anything like that, so if you email me & don't hear from me right away, this is why. I know ... some of you are saying "We emailed you a long time ago & are still waiting for a response!" I deeply apologize. I have been trying to catch up as best I can. Lots of stuff going on here, & of course I have been stitching away on Christmas exchanges & gifts. I wish I could show you some of them but that will have to wait until they are received : )
In the meantime, I can show you another photo of Sophie soaking up the heat coming from the heating vent. She's actually sleeping on it here! She looks like the picture of contentment, doesn't she : )

Bye-Bye Computer
I also took the following photos of Sophie a couple days ago. When I get up in the morning, it is early, still dark outside, & John is still sleeping. I brew some tea & then sit in my recliner to spend time in prayer & study. The very second I start to sit down, Sophie comes running over to snuggle on my lap even before I get comfortable! Here she is wondering why I'm taking a photo instead of using her as a lap desk as usual.
Now she's happy, fulfilling her morning purpose of being a lap desk : )
I wish you all a happy weekend ahead! Are you still being thankful for something each day? Today I am thankful for being blessed with such a sweet & snuggly cat : )

Love you sweetie x
Even though you won't have access to email ~ I do hope you enjoy the unplugged time! Sweet pics of the kitty!
Sophie is so sweet! My Gigi will sit on the radiator. She knows when the heat comes up makes a clicking noise and she jumps right up! :) Have a good night!
Warm woolie hugs to you and Sophie!
Good to see you popping in, Shirlee! Hope your computer issues are easily fixed. Mine has to go in to have the motherboard upgraded soon.
Wishing you a wonderful remainder to the week as well as upcoming weekend!

Sophie looks like a very happy and pampered kitty. I hope your computer is fixed soon. Don't worry about catching up. I don't think I will EVER catch up. Lol

Sophie has the right idea -- sleeping on the heat vent! I wish I could do that too because at this time of year, I just can't get warm.
What a wonderful companion :)
Sweet Sophie! Your morning routine sounds perfect.
I hope that everything that is going on is all good.
Hugs!
Yes! I am still thankful every day. Henry is the same way. He IS the definition of a lap dog. He lives to cuddle. He goes from one lap to the next ALL day long.
Enjoy your "time away". Perhaps you will be very productive with stitching. =) Be blessed!
Have a wonderful weekend sweet friend.I can't wait to see your creations, for I know that they will be beautiful.Love your fuzzy lap desk!Such a sweet and patient friend you have in Sophie.Blessings,Jen
You have a sweet cat Shirlee.
I do feel blessed each day another day I can stitch and talk to friends .
Oh, that is such a nuisance being computerless. But happy stitching. Sophie is so cute and Milo and Furio say "hi" to her. Today I am thankful for the fact that my procedure went well yesterday and my specialist seemed happy - I don't get the results until Monday week but I am hopeful that all will be well! I am also thankful that my DFIL should be coming home from hospital today. And the last thing I pray for is that my mother is taken to God soon - she is in so much pain and her poor body is slowly giving up, it is so tragic, sad and so painful to see her like this. Love you, my dear friend.
Hope to see you back soon Shirlee. I owe you an email or two!
Cute kitty!
Take care my friend xx
Sometimes I wake up and the days starts out bad. Take a deep breath, and I get dressed and go out for the rest of the day. A broken computer is a bad day. Happythanksgiving.
God bless
