God grant you the light in Christmas, which is faith;
the warmth of Christmas, which is love;
the radiance of Christmas, which is purity;
the righteousness of Christmas, which is justice;
the belief in Christmas, which is truth;
& all of Christmas, which is Christ.

Heart Surgery Scheduled

Luckily I'm not the superstitious sort as I found out today that my heart surgery is scheduled for Friday of next week.  Yep ... Friday the 13th.  I don't know the exact time yet but thus far I am the only patient on my surgeon's schedule that day.  No surprise there ... lol!  I will have to go to the hospital on Thursday morning for pre-admission testing & stuff, then come back home, then go back to the hospital to be admitted for the surgery the following morning.

When I get the exact time of surgery, I will post again.

You got this friend.
The sweetest lady I knew (my GRAM)
was born on the 13th.
So we love that number.
My kids always chose it for their number on their jerseys for sports.

Just think of all the extra care and attention you'll get with everyone else avoiding next Friday! Plus you'll be covered with sooo many prayers, so it should be a very good day. I'm glad this problem is no longer hidden and you can have the repair; take care of yourself until then!

I agree with Calamity Jr, you'll have the place to yourself! My hubby was born on the 13th and look how lucky he is, he married me LOL.

Fingers crossed it all goes well.
