SAL Progress & More Stash

As I have mentioned before, Shar & I are doing a January Word Play SAL.  We started yesterday.  This is as far as I've gotten ...

For some reason I enjoy stitching letters so thus far I am having a good time with this   : )

I also was going to begin working on my Christmas ornament SAL.  Two projects going at once ... something unheard of for me.  I haven't altered my OOAT tendencies yet, however, as the ornament remains unstarted.  I just can't seem to bring myself to do it ... lol!  I did get it ready, though.
I promised sometime in the recent past to post more photos of my recent stash acquisitions.  Some of the photos turned out pretty clear & in others the stash may as well be sitting behind a closed door with a blanket over it but hopefully you can get a little idea of what has come in the mail for me lately   : )

These first 2 photos are items in 1 order received from 1-2-3 Stitch ...

...& these 4 items are from another 1-2-3 order ...
I know I bought those Crescent Colours for a specific project but heaven only knows what project that is.  I suppose I'll figure it out eventually   : )

These are  2 no longer available Pine Mountain Designs kits that someone was selling on Etsy.  Both are cute but I love-love-love that mitten one!
These next 2 charts were purchased from Teresa.  She was selling them on her blog but unfortunately I can't recall the name of the blog!  I think the Sue Hillis design on the left will break down to make some really cute ornaments!
Here is another order from Anita at Anita's Little Stitches.  It's a 4-parter by Raise the Roof Designs called Christmasland.
The above photo doesn't really show you much but this is how the picture looks when it's finished ...
This photo isn't "staged" needless to say (lol!) but here's a pile of cross stitch fabric that has come to live with me recently.  I bought it for the specific projects for which it is needed.  It would've been a smart thing for me to make note of what those projects are.  Right now I have no idea.  I will probably go through everything at some point & try to figure it out.
And last, but not least, is a bunch of stuff I bought from someone on Etsy I think.  I can't remember if she was getting rid of unwanted stash or what but I am excited with what I got from her   : )

And there you have it!  In addition to participating in bad photography I finished putting away the Christmas things today, with the exception of 2 signs which are still hanging on the wall, & did a bit of dusting & laundry.  Our "God shakes the talcum powder can a bit" snow came down with a vengeance for 10 minutes or so but of course there's just a little bit of a dusting out there with most of the grass still visible.  Stupid central Kentucky snow.  I hope others are having a totally white experience tonight   : )

I had better get back to my SAL!

Oh my Gosh! What a lot of lovely stash you have acquired. I love all of them - if you feel so inclined I would love the Christmasland pattern once you have stitched it - it is gorgeous. Sorry to be so cheeky but I love it.

Enjoy rolling in your stash - I think that you have so much that you could easily do that! lol!
Lots of hugs, Kaye xoxox

Holy Smokes Woman!!! That's more stitching than I could take on in a lifetime!! But you are going to have an amazing winter wonderland showcase of a home if you get those all stitched and keep them all! Oh - I love that Bird in Hand one and the Merry Yule pocket...(Sure there are more I "love" but my eyes aren't seeing the details too well on a lot of them.) And all that fabric frightens me...A year or so ago, I "de-stashed" a (very) wee bit of my old cross-stitch things. I had so much Aida cloth (and a bit of linen) - different cuts, colors, counts - all intended for specific projects. I was wise enough to mark a few with the name of the pattern they were intended for (like I could possibly even remember WHERE that pattern was then though); the rest I had to sit and try to count so I could accurately list it on Ebay. Yikes. I needed the Shirlee System..... ;o) Smiles & Hugs ~ Robin

Last Spring I bought ooodles and ooodles of stash like you and then went on vacation locally and visited a not-so-close-LNS that has other fabrics and bought every color of 25-count Lugana they had plus some 36-count LSL! All this because I wasn't going on a vacation far away, so I had money to spend locally! WooHoo! Your S.E.X. (Stash Enhancement Experience) looks like loads of fun! Hugs!
