God grant you the light in Christmas, which is faith;
the warmth of Christmas, which is love;
the radiance of Christmas, which is purity;
the righteousness of Christmas, which is justice;
the belief in Christmas, which is truth;
& all of Christmas, which is Christ.

Rules - 1:5

5.  In all things, before you begin something, be cautious & ponder what the outcome may be.  In all that you do & undertake, think constantly whether you would want to be doing it if that very hour you were to be called by death to appear before God's judgment.  For this reason never allow yourself to be found in any situation in which you could not trust or hope for your salvation.  Live every day as if you might die & appear before the judgment seat of Christ.

It wasn't my intention to comment on these Rules as I shared them but I have got to say that this one really grabbed me by the shoulders & gave me a good shaking.  Wise advice indeed.

You're right, Shirlee - this does make one stop and consider our choices. What a better place this world would be if everyone did this just a little more often.....Smiles & Hugs ~ Robin
