2. Refrain from wicked, idle, & unclean thoughts. "Keep your heart with all diligence" (Proverbs 4:23). For whatever you allow your thoughts to be, your speech, your conduct, & your entire way of life will be the same.
3. Think often on the four last things: on death, of which there is nothing more certain; on Judgment Day, of which there is nothing more terrible; on hell, for there is nothing more unbearable; & on heaven, for there is nothing more joyful. He who often thinks on these things will shun innumerable sins & be diligent in true godliness.

Good, great, wonderful, excellent morning!!! Yesterday I posted about the joys of autumn. Well, as wonderful as autumn is, it doesn't hold a candle to winter!!! Look what I woke up to this morning!!!
Snow!!! In central Kentucky!!! On October 2nd!!! True, just a dusting (this is usually what our snow looks like ... as though God gave one of the angels a can of talcum powder & had him shake it a bit around the area) but snow nonetheless!!! I'm sorry to say I missed it falling down. I woke up at 5 a.m. but talked myself into going back to sleep. When I opened my eyes, this is what I saw : )
snow [snoh] noun: big, fat, fluffy flakes of Prozac falling from the sky
To paraphrase a bit, "Things go better with snow!"
There is no way depression would come a-knockin' at your door when there is snow outside! There's just no way!
Happy, happy, joy, joy! Snow-snow-snow!!!
I do realize it will be short-lived (temps are supposed to go into the 60s today & the 70s will be closely following) but it's here today! Hooray, hooray!

Shirlee my friend, you know how to bust a girl's bubble!!(wink) I was just as thrilled to wake this morning and have chill bumps from the coolness in the house. Brought out my flannel robe as I got out of bed, grabbed a cup of hot coffee and then,, I read YOU have snow. Now I feel deprived. But so glad for you as I know you love cold weather. Let that cold stuff kill down that grass and there you have it a double treat. You won't have to mow. It looks so pretty out your door. I would be excited too. Hey that little bit would probably close schools here in the south. You have a great day my friend
