I experienced more than a bit of stress earlier this afternoon which made me decide to have a go at my exchange ornament again. I can't say I'm real thrilled with the outcome but I don't think Elka will hate it. At least I hope not.
The words "never again" come to mind but I know I won't heed them. In fact, I now need to start a project for another cross stitch exchange!
They're coming to take me away, ha-ha!
Thankfully I can make this next item into anything I want : )

Shirlee, I love the ornament. There is nothing not to love about it. Your partner will have to be so proud of it. Just sent you an e-mail.

Alrighty then....from one "perfectionist" to another....you're WRONG! This is wonderful and Elka will love it! You are being too finicky my dear - and trust me, that can, at times, be not so good. Stop over-analyzing....it'll make ya nutty!! ;o) I thinks you did a splendid job and then some on it....Smiles & Hugs ~ Robin
Shirlee,
I haven't been able to follow your blog lately as my hubby is going in for surgery on Friday and we've been getting everything heavy done before he can't do it.
The ornament is gorgeous and I'm sure your exchange partner will appreciate all the hard work that went into it.
You're one crafty lady :)
Hugs,
Diane
