God grant you the light in Christmas, which is faith;
the warmth of Christmas, which is love;
the radiance of Christmas, which is purity;
the righteousness of Christmas, which is justice;
the belief in Christmas, which is truth;
& all of Christmas, which is Christ.

Another Finish to Share : )

You'll probably be seeing a few of these posts over the next week or so   : )   Here is a photo of another one of the finishes I completed last week.  The usual disclaimer for the lousy photography applies.

This is a freebie pattern from The Primitive Hare.  I stitched it on linen using DMC threads & I'm sure you can see my beloved chenille trim that I added   : )

I woke up this morning at 4:30 ... not really a surprise since I went to bed before 10:00.  Not really a problem either because I love getting up before the sunrise.  It's such a peaceful, relaxing time.  I make myself a cup of tea & then sit down to visit blogs & read emails.  On my dear friend cucki's blog this morning I read a lovely quote about Christmas with which I am going to end this post.  Yes ... I'm doing a short post this morning! Take advantage of this rare brevity while you can   : )   Anyway, I have seen many quotes about Christmas over the years but never this one.  I just had to share it with you.

Christmas is forever, not for just one day,
for loving, sharing, giving, are not to put away
like bells & lights & tinsel, in some box upon a shelf.
The good you do for others is good you do yourself.
